Affiliate Program Terms

1. Scope

These Affiliate Program Terms ("Affiliate Terms") govern your participation in the RV Service Club Affiliate Program. The program has two participation types:

• Member referrals. Every active member receives a referral code and can share it with friends. Member referrals are governed by these terms but do not require separate enrollment beyond active membership.
• Sales representatives. Admin-invited individuals who promote RV Service Club memberships under per-rep commission terms. Sales rep participation requires acceptance of these Affiliate Terms and successful Stripe Connect Express onboarding before any commission can be earned.

By clicking "I agree" (sales reps) or by sharing your referral code (members), you accept these Affiliate Terms.

2. Member referral rewards

• When a friend signs up using your referral code and successfully pays for their first invoice, both you and your friend receive a one-time reward.
• The friend's first invoice is discounted by the current published Friend Discount amount. The discount applies only to the first invoice; subsequent invoices are billed at the regular rate.
• You receive a bill credit equal to the current published Referrer Bonus amount, applied automatically to your next invoice via your Stripe customer balance. No cash payouts are issued for member referrals.
• To earn the bill credit, you must hold an active membership at the time your referred friend's first payment is recorded. Members whose accounts are suspended, trashed, or non-active at that moment are not eligible for the referrer credit on that referral.
• Bill credits are non-transferable and have no cash value. They expire only if your account is closed.

3. Sales representative commission

• Sales rep commission terms (signup bonus, recurring rate, payout threshold) are set per-representative by RV Service Club at the time your affiliate record is created and may be modified by mutual written agreement.
• The signup bonus is earned upon the referred member's first successful payment. The recurring commission is earned on every subsequent successful payment for the lifetime of that member's subscription, unless a fixed term is stated in your affiliate record.
• Commission is calculated against the gross plan price, not net of processing fees, taxes, or coupons.
• Commission events accrue to your pending balance only when the underlying member payment is successful. Failed payments do not create commission.

4. Sales rep payouts

• Sales reps are paid via Stripe Connect Express transfers. You must complete Stripe Connect onboarding (identity verification, bank account linking, tax forms) before any payout can be issued.
• Payouts run on the published cadence (default: monthly, on the first of the month). Reps whose pending balance is below the configured payout threshold (default: $25) at the time the cron runs carry over to the following cycle.
• We are not responsible for delays, holds, or fees imposed by Stripe, your bank, or any intermediary financial institution.

5. Refunds, chargebacks, and clawbacks

• Member referrals. Once a referrer bill credit is issued, it is not reversed if the underlying friend payment is later refunded or charged back. The reward to the referrer is final.
• Sales rep commissions. If a referred member's payment is refunded, charged back, or otherwise reversed, the corresponding commission is clawed back from your pending balance. If your pending balance is insufficient to cover the clawback, the deficit reduces your next-earned commissions until recovered.
• If a sales rep is terminated or voluntarily exits the program while carrying a negative balance, the outstanding amount is written off; we will not pursue further collection except in the case of fraud or willful violation of these terms.

6. Tax responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes on commissions, bill credits, or other rewards you receive through the program.
• 1099-NEC threshold (U.S. sales reps). If your aggregate payouts in a calendar year reach $600 or more (the current IRS reporting threshold for non-employee compensation, subject to change), a Form 1099-NEC (or successor form) will be issued to you for that tax year. Stripe Connect is the platform of record for your payout activity and may issue the 1099-NEC on our behalf; you can access it through your Stripe Express dashboard by January 31 of the following year.
• W-9 collection. As you approach the reporting threshold, Stripe will request a completed Form W-9 (or W-8 for non-U.S. persons) directly through your Stripe Express dashboard. Payouts can be paused until the form is submitted. RV Service Club does not collect tax forms outside of Stripe.
• Member referral bill credits are typically treated as a discount against your own service, not taxable income, but you should consult your tax advisor.
• International sales reps: tax reporting in your country of residence is your sole responsibility. RV Service Club does not issue forms for non-U.S. tax jurisdictions.

7. Code of conduct

You agree that, in promoting RV Service Club, you will:

• Not impersonate RV Service Club, its staff, or any of its technicians.
• Not make false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims about our services, pricing, or coverage area.
• Not engage in spam, mass-unsolicited communication, or other practices prohibited by CAN-SPAM, TCPA, or similar laws.
• Not run paid advertising on RV Service Club's trademarks or brand keywords without prior written approval.
• Not enroll yourself, your immediate family, or accounts under your control as "referred friends" in order to claim the discount or credit on a household's own membership. Self-referral is grounds for forfeiture of accrued rewards.
• Not use the program in connection with fraud, money laundering, or any other unlawful activity.

8. Vanity referral codes

Members may claim a custom ("vanity") referral code in place of the auto-generated code. Vanity codes are subject to a one-time claim and cannot be changed by self-service afterward. We reserve the right to refuse, reclaim, or reassign any vanity code that is obscene, infringing on third-party rights, brand-adjacent to RV Service Club's marks, or otherwise inappropriate, at our sole discretion.

9. Termination

• You may exit the affiliate program at any time by contacting support. Outstanding commissions above the payout threshold will be paid out in the next cycle following your departure; balances below the threshold are forfeited.
• We may suspend or terminate your participation, withhold pending commissions, or claw back paid commissions for cause — including but not limited to violation of these terms, misrepresentation, fraud, or chargeback abuse.
• Termination of your underlying membership ends member-referral eligibility automatically. Sales rep participation continues independent of membership unless terminated separately.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Affiliate Terms from time to time. Material changes (commission structure, payout cadence, eligibility rules) will be communicated to active affiliates by email at least 30 days before taking effect, and sales reps may be prompted to re-accept the revised terms before continuing in the program.

11. Limitation of liability

The Affiliate Program is provided on an "as is" basis. Our total liability under or in connection with these Affiliate Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the total commissions and bill credits earned by you under this program during the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Affiliate Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
